10 Gallon Fish Tank Aqua Tech 5-15 Filter Gold Fish?

Hello I Have Some Questions Regarding Goldfish
I Have A 10 Gallon Glass Fish Tank With An Aqua Tech Brand Filter
And A Hood With 2 Bulbs
I Bought 3 Fancy Goldfish About A Week An A Half Ago
And 2 Of The Gold Fish Died
I Followed The Instructions I Added A Teaspoon Of Water Conditioner And A Cap Full Of Bacteria When Setting Up The Tank For The First Time
When I Got Home With The Fish I Floated Em In The Tank For 15 Minutes Then Released Em Into The Tank I Fed Em Twice A Day As Directed Turning On The Hood Only At Night Time I Don’t Know What I Did Wrong Now I Am Thinking Of Buying Minnow Fish Because I Heard They Don’t Get Sick As Easy As Fancy Gold Fish I Don’t Have A Heater But Do Not Know If One Is Required For Minnows I Want To Keep Minnows As Pets Not Feeders For Other Fish If Anyone Has Some Or Lots Of Knowledge About Minnows And Keeping Em Healthy In A Fish Tank Please Let Me Know I Really Need Some Advice On How To Care For Minnows
Thank You

Marine aquarium with Aqua beam 500 and AquaRay multi contro

Newly set up marine with aqua ray led lights and multi functioning controller currently in storm mode which can trigger certain species to spawn, but is cool to watch anyway No fish yet. But going to introduce two clown fish, a shrimp and crabs and snails, maybe a Royal Grammar. Filtered with fluval 205 external with live rock and heated with two 50w heaters, also one koralia powerhead. As you can see lots of live rock and some dead live rock which will be become live in time! Rock doing well with lots of creepies and about 5 feather dusters. Check back for more updates when I introduce some fish and coral.

Tetra Aqua Safe, Can You Harmful Overdose For Frogs? ( Fire Belly Toad Help Please >< )?

the person at the pet store told us distilled water actually pulls the nutrients OUT of them, and that we should use spring with AquaSafe? my dad brought some home today and I added it into the large tank, but she told me to add till it turned a blueish tint, I’ve added several large squirts and it’s still clear >^-< <
if any other info's needed please ask;
there's also a little white foam, but that's been in there awhile, it always comes back no matter how much I clean the enclosure, and I'm not sure what it is or how to get rid of it :/

Is There Any Terrapins/turtles Small Enough For A Aqua One Horizon 60 Litre aquarium?

Hi. I’ve got a new big aquarium with tropical fish and now have an empty 60 litre tank and Realy fancy terrapins or turtles but was wondering what breed I can get for that size tank and how many. Well any advice in general would be grateful as I prefer real peoples advice than websites or shop keepers. Thanks in advance

How can I replace a bio-filter cartridge for a Aqua Tech filter?

Question by christianchat17: How can I replace a bio-filter cartridge for a Aqua Tech filter?
I got a used aquarium from someone. The aquarium came with a filter. The filter does not have any cartridges in it. How can I replace those. I know that you aren’t supposed to change them after you start an aquarium, but where can I find a set to put in the filter to start with? It is the kind that hangs over the side of the aquarium. What should I do? Does a sponge act the same way as a bio-cartridge? I already have the carbon filter cartridges to put in it.

The carbon cartridges filters out most waste, but the biofilter is designed to host bacterial colonies to break down organic waste. You could probably get one from their website or a local pet store. Sponge filters should work just as well as they function both mechanically and biologically.
