Should I Get A Power Head For My Aquarium?

Here is my scenario,
I have a 60gallon tank (Dimensions: 48-1/4″L x 12-3/4″W x 57-3/4″H), with a Aqueon filter on one side and a heater on the other. I have a freshwater semi aggressive community of fish. I was wondering, should I get a power head for better water movement? because the side of the tank without the filter, the water seems to be not moving a lot. The filter is 325 gallons per hour, but i am just concerned that the other side isn’t getting enough movement. Is the filter good enough for circulation, or is a powerhead highly recommended for a tank of the size?
Also which one would you recommend (that is quiet)?
Thank-you

In general, I’d say you have enough water movement from your 325-gallon-per-hour filter. In actual use, most filters don’t run quite up to their rated capacities, for various reasons, but you still have plenty of water movement even if your filter is only moving, say, 240 gallons per hour.
The only reason I would add a power head to that tank would be if there are fish in the tank that need a swift and directional current to be happy. Since you didn’t say what species are in the tank, I can’t evaluate that, but most species will be happy with the amount of water circulation you have already.

This is not necessary but a nice edition to a 60 gal fish tank I recommend anything by whisper they are hard working, bang-for-your-buck, and quiet, hence the name.

Its not a bad idea, it will blow some extra dirty stuff towards the filter, I had one on the opposite side as the penguin filter in my 55, the tank was spotless, hardly any stuff to pick up with the gravel vac, It seems like a good ideah for a long tank like that, I lost the bottom half of it when I was useing it in qurantine tank, and my tank is still pretty clean, but I think I may get another one, just to be extra safe,

I would get another small filter for the other side of the tank there cheap aqua clear makes a good filter way better chioce then a powerhead in your case
