Puffers and lion fish are generally a good match but I suggest that you do research yourself. Not because I (and others) mind answering but because I see wrong information given in answers often so you reallly need to double check anybody’s answers. Frog/Anglers are usually OK with lions but questionable with puffers. I have included a link to Live Aquaria’s compatibility chart.
The porcupine puffer may nip at the lionfish, these cannot be kept together.
The frogfish is better in a specialist species tank.
Porcupine puffers and volitans lionfish both need marine tanks over 100 US gallons. Frogfish can be in smaller aquaria depending on species as they are not as active. All need specialist care.
Yes, they live well together, no one will convince me otherwise, that is what I have in one of my tanks, a pp puffer, a volitan lion and a niger trigger. the frog fish..I don’t know….you must have lots of live rock and a 75+ gallon tank.
