jumped out I think, maybe dog ate him. Everything’s moved over ya.
what happen to your fire fish ? did you move everything from the 10 gallon to the 90 gallon?
great videos mate
hi .. ive watched all of your videos over the past few evenings and all i can say is that you are an inspiration … from the start of your nano up to the 90 gallon every video has been a pleasure to watch and been really informative .. im new to marine fish and only just started with a 10 gallon nano(ive added videos).. i just hope that i progress like yourself and be rewarded the same way as you ha ve .. thanks for these videos they have helped me no end .. keep it up.. 10/10 fantastic
Amen brother!
so i got my nano up yesterday uploaded a really bad quality video though…..used my cell phone couldnt find my camera lol
i dont think that a serpent star because i have a big one and it cant climb on the glass
Thanks!
I’m hoping to get a powder blue tang. I go over how to make live rock in my first couple movies in the 90 gallon and nano series…check em out, it’s pretty straight forward.
No idea why lordofthereef hasn’t made a movie, send him a message and inquire
I recall him mentioning something about school in a movie, but again you’d have to ask him
I generally attach corals (frags) to my own frag plugs with super glue gel. Then I put super glue gel on the bottom of the frag plugs and put put them on the rocks. I don’t take the big rocks out of the tank. The gel will stick under water.
ick, ich. If you have trouble with ich best guidance is to get them fish into quarantine if you can, treat them in there for a few months. Ich takes about a month to die in a tank. If you don’t want to do that then I suggest keep that water clean, warm, and feed really good foods….but QT is the best option.
got 432 watts / 90 gal = 4.8 watts per gallon.
subscribe to my youtube channel more coming soon nice 90 gallon gallon are you going to get a blue tang it will bring out more color in to the tank.how do you make live rock i want to make than buy 1 lbs fr 6.99.tell me asap thanks. lordofthereef does not make update no more i wonder why?
one more question, when you put new corals, do you get the big rock out to glue them? or what kind of glue do you use?? thx !!
the tank is doing great !!! i am having issues with mine… my fish keep getting ich… and because of the inverts i cannot treat them so they kind of die… hey how many watts per gallon do you have there?
nice
In my fixture I have no pure actinics actually…basically cause they don’t add any par and you can get blue with par with good bulbs.
I have:
5 Actinic + (blue/actinic combo)
2 aquablue special (white with a hint of blue)
1 Kiji Purple (purple as the name says)
I’m going to re-arrange the bulbs to change the hue. I’m also thinking of changing a aquablue special cause in person the tank is quite white. Might make it another actinic + or try another fiji purp.
T5 is a type of bulb. It’s the highest output floresent bulb. MH is a type of bulb. Each have their own type of ballasts. There are pro’s and cons to each type of lighting system.
I like T5′s because they come in all kinds of color’s and really make corals pop with color. MH’s claim to fame is that they create a shimmer affect. I’d rather go for color pop and eventually get LED’s to simulate shimmer. Also no need for a chiller with T5′s. There’s other pro’s and cons, but those are the biggies
Is Actinics the blues or is T5′s the blues?
thanks
Mine make me tired just watching them. I bet they slow down in the next few weeks.
Thanks
I found 2 more yesterday.
I don’t’ have MH. Just 8 T5′s. Next time I’ll try with half the blues off. The camera really seems to pick up the blue’s and purps.
yeah i noticed that in the video, he’d follow the clowns. and if he’s been by himself for a few years then he’s probably used to it….if you buy a bunch at the same time acclimate and put then in together in the same area at the same time they usually tend to stay schooled together from what i’ve seen
Wow I haven’t seen clowns so active before. Mine just stay around their GSP coral that they host all day long, I wish mine would take a break from hosting and swim back and forth like that
Great Update!! I can’t get over Custard, he’s awesome!
Were you shooting the video in Actinics? It was SUPER blue. I recommend next using just ur Metal Halides of T5′s!
Nice update. Loved “Spaghetti” at the end.
