why does everybody think rtc can be 5 feet long (in captivity) im sure ill get flamed for this but max is 30 inched (once again in captivity)

RTC and TSN should both grow bigger then that. Plenty of ppl have then over 3′ and quite a few have them over 40″.
i went to the pet shop and there was 10′pacus getting bullied by 4′ convict.

your fish are nice. Just watch they don’t accidently scratch themselves on the sharp rocks. It’s happened alot in my tank so i got different rock.
all the fish get along. the biggest brawl was the red devil and green terror had a lip-lock contest for about 15-20mins. now they swim side by side.
RTC,TSN,pacus can grow2 5′. u already no how fast the pacu grows,thats nothn compared2 this redtail.bought him7/16 he was1 1/2″now 8/16 he’s 11″. i just added latest video.
being that ur pacus owned that tank all this time i would put a divider in the tank4, 1-2months, b4 add’n a redtail. @ this point they’r just going 2 think he’s food. give the redtail time2 grow n the pacus time2 get used2 seeing the redtail.

hey, cool fish. We have 2 pacu’s about 2 feet each, how does your get along with the catfish? How big will your catfish get? We are thinking of getting one.
