Questions about fish for a 60 gallon aquarium!?
How do these fish sound?
4 Angel Fish
8 Rummy Nose Tetras
6 Congo Tetras
4 Cory Cats
1 Rubber Pleco
Possibly 2 Blue Platys
Possibly 6 Zebra Danios
3 Female Bettas
What do you think about the bettas? Any tips about the bettas or other fish would be great!
When you have more than one betta is it better to have more or less? I know you should have at least 3… I would like to save as many form those small cups as possible. I know I don’t have much room in my tank!
So there is no way I get bettas? I would skip the danios and platys but I really wanted the bettas. Is it likley that the angels would pick on the bettas? Would the 3 bettas work in a different tank?
The whole reason I set up the aquarium was to get angel fish so Im for sure getting those. Also I would be getting 2 male platys which seem to do fine in my other tanks.

perfect but lay back on the danios… they like to pick on other fish… no danios and instead silver tip tetras!! their stunning =)

The Angels will very likely pick on your Bettas.
Skip the Danios, Platies, and Bettas. Add 2 Corys, and call it a day. You’re tank can’t really support more than that.
I’d leave out the congo tetras, and boost the number of rummynose tetras, instead. Congo tetras get large, and will, if anything, aesthetically clash with the rest of the tank. Though they are large enough to just cause problems on their own, anyway.
Unless you think algae is going to be a real problem, I would skip the pleco.
Platys are neat, I’ve had red ones, but they get territorial and aggressive when pregnant.
Female bettas can get mischievous and annoying to other fish, including corys. Some say they’l fight with each other, but I’ve never, nor will experiment.
Unless your hell bent on the angels, I’d skip them too. I’m still wondering what my fascination was with them as a kid.
