what can i put them on to dry that they won’t stick fast to? i was thinking wax paper or tin foil but i don’t know.

Wax paper, parchment paper or silicon baking mats (like Silpat) will all work well

it worked for me but its kind of a pain to do. try using one of those thin flexiable plastic cutting boards for letting them dry. that way at least if they dont come off you can just cut the cutting board appart
