We have a video of each tank in this Zoo. 27th of March 2009 (27.03.2009) +++ The population of this tank Slew Sharks, Jack Fish or Northern pike / Hecht (Esox lucius) European carp / Karpfen (Cyprinus carpio)

@MarkCox73 yea cuz here the muskie will sometimes breed with pike and thats ow we get the tiger muskies!!!!! and european pike get like 50 lbs cmpared to our 30lbs
Yes, but they can be bred together. the are the same exact species. Like with muskies here. The “Chataqua” muskie has different markings from other natives but can breed with one another and isn’t a hybrid. They are like 2 different races but same species. European/Asian pike grow larger than N. American ones (record for record)
Yes, they often stay in thick weeds where they’re camouflaged perfectly.
And 3 feet is a pretty big pike.
or another common name we call them is “Jack Fish”
we call them Slew Sharks here…. when your fishing for them you usually catch them in very thick weeds… i have actually caught one and though i had a huge wack of weeds but as i brought it closer the fish started going nuts…. my mom when she was 17 caught the biggest one i have seen… 17 pounds at Lac La Bich… canada of coarse… the damn thing was like 3 feet long

hm not all pikes in europa looks that way here in Norway n in Sweden its just the same northern deal,this is the first time i have seen a european pike x) didnt know they were more species of pike here..
yea or a greenish colour aswell and smaller dots it looks like also and more + white’r
Canadian pike seem to have a more brownish coloration then the european pike.
