My pet goldfish just laid an egg with no other fish! What do I do?
Alright. So I was cleaning out my fish bowl and I saw this worm like thing at the bottom of the fish bowl. So I got the worm out and it had a ball in the canter. So when I empty out my fishbowl I put the fish in one sink and clean the bowl in another. When I went to check on the fish in the other bathroom and came back to finish cleaning.. the worm like thing dissolved and there was a ball at the bottom of the sink. Its like a transparent ball but only one. I think there are other worm like things in the bowl. But how can my fish have babies without any other fish in its tank for almost four months? My fish is a goldfish by the way and its useless info but his name is Nemo. Is it a baby fish? If so, what do I do? Leave it? I didn’t want more fish!! Lol.

And the ball is clear but it looked like a brown worm before and then juut dissovled.
Also. Can I let the fish eat the ball? I haven’t moved anything since I found it. The fish is still in the sink..
I only have one fish. So there is no point of getting rid of it. Throw it out? Burn it? What do I do if its parasites?
No! It’s not parasites. The worm never moved. It wasn’t really a worm at all. It just layed ther and looked like poop the whole time.

That was parasite that hatched!
You said its gone it might be in your fish now!
These feed on fish first than move on to larger hosts like humans! Get rid of the fish now! It might get in your brain!
UMMMMM… most likely not a baby.
Parasites is probably the best bet.

Then as I told you in your other question, that is is poop and you goldfish might have a stomach problem. It wasn’t a egg, so quite worrying about that. Just clean its bowl and think about getting it a better home. I still think its probably having some stomach ache problems, clear poop/partly clear poop usually indicated that. fast it a few days and do the pea thing I told you about. You can ask this again in thirty minutes if you want, but I doubt you’ll get anything else in what to do. if its not a parasite, then i was poop. Remember, we’re not there to actually see things, we have to go by what you write. And from what you’ve written, i think its just poop with a bubble or so caught in it.
you have a sick fishy… it probably wont last. ur water probably wasn’t clean. if u get a new fish only put distilled water in it.
