@panhead88
BBS might be a little small i have never fed BBS until the were a week or two old some finely crushed flake food was all i fed those untill they were bigger
@123456duggie thanks, So i knew that, I just wanted to check if there was any other reasons why. What do you feed the fry? BBS? I might feed mine some crushed flake food.
@panhead88
yes once she gives birth you remove her from the breeding trap to stop her from eating the fry if she gave birth outside the breeding trap the other fish would eat the fry and fillters will suck them up
Im a little new to this so why would you want to separate the female? So the fry wont get eaten by the other fish?
thanks
oh hey! how did u stick the breeder trap in the aquarium?
@123456duggie thanks for the info! =D and again. i really adore your tank (: its really nice! id call it simple yet charming =D
@iliruzanna94 she might eat a few but after she gives irth you remover her
@123456duggie hey erm, tats a really nice tank u got there! =D i was wondering whether the mommy would eat the babies in the container! will she? like..after giving birth or during?
@ramdomnessitsnice thank you sadly it was verry bare at that time it was soon put right though have a look at my updated vid if you think it looks nice now
Very clean tank
clever idea : )
@123456duggie Thanks
@LilShortAznKiddo you wait untill you know she is pregnant live bearing fish give birth to live babys they dont need to be fertilized by a male (that happens when they have fishy sex LOL, only fish who lay eggs need a male to fertilized the eggs once the females release them
@123456duggie Ohh thanks for replying. Another question, if she is being trap from the male, how will the baby live fish will be fertilize?
@LilShortAznKiddo
you put the gravid femail in them,if she is a live bearer ( gives birth to live fish rather than eggs) she will give birth in there the containerprevents other fish from eating the fry (baby fish) also stops them being sucked up your fillter
What does the breeding trap do? Like how does it work?
@gazza3112 thank you lol

what ecactly does the breeding trap do?
@savvinabox
