) Cat fish are safe just like the pleco’s , gost knife fish will be lunch .
The puffer depends , I had 2 figure 8 puffer fish , and when they turned mature they started eating the slower fish there fins . One died of them and now one is living with neon tetra’s and pleco’s.
If you get a puffer get the red eye puffer fish I can look up the latin name, they are the nicest of the puffer familie .

yeah i was thinking of redoing one of my cichlid tanks. as ive only got one geophagus in a 3ft tank. hes as aggresive as anything cant put anything in with him and he destroys al the nicely planted plants! i was gonna get a ghost knife, a brisstle nose and pleco catfish and ive got a spiny eel to put in already and possibly a puffer.
have you had any experience with these types of fish? and would a puffer go nicely with them?

Good tip , but if the bag is filled with enough water and air then it’s not such a big p[roblem . Better than trow them the 1 minute you come back home . I usually let them acclimate for 20-40 minutes and then I temperature them.
I have 2 tanks now 1time 160x50x50 and a 80x40x40.
I both vacuum the tank every week and change 20-25% of the water and clean the filter with cold water . Feeding once the 2 days .
looks good freshwater pufferfish- Tony Montana= gret name dude thats the pick of all names.
just i think they are meant to stay in the bag for a 1/2 hour otherwise the oxygen is used up and sitting in their waste can cause sickness and problems. but they are some very good aquariums ive got cichlids which grow quite large.
how many tanks do you have?? and are looking after so many small fish hard eg. cleaning out often, tank Ph levels etc, feeding…???
