My Aquarium Snails Had A Baby, Are There More? Help?

Okay, I have a 10 gallon tank with a divider. On the right side there is a Betta Fish (Kenji) and two yellow snails (Angelo and Jenks). And on the left is another Betta Fish (Pybols) and two small, brown snails (Lexus and Jayburr). I honestly have no idea what type of snails Lexus and Jay are.. The guy at the pet store just handed them to me. He said they were still babies themselves.. But they haven’t been growing so obviously they are mature..
Anyway, They had a baby (Gary) yesterday. My questions are,
- How many babies at a time to snails have?
- And do snails have live births, or was it an egg? Because I just noticed it yesterday when it was on the glass.
I’ve never had baby snails before, so I’m new and pretty excited. :)
Any advice is very helpful. Thank you so much.

It really depends what type they are. They’re are many species of snails.
Most likely you have the common pond/pest snails. They will keep breeding, and most likely take over your tank. If you continue to have this problem then you should definitely get rid of some by donating them to your local fish store.
Also, they probably lay eggs. And can lay eggs from a few at a time to several.
Good Luck, and Hope this Helps.

snails are a pain once they start mating. Obviously having 2 snails will mate since they have both female and male reproductive organs. good luck, and yeah they lay eggs, like spider egg sac thing…very hard…usually at top of tank where there is no water.
