There are some little weird brown slug things in my fish tank, are they harmful to my fish or do the just move around? Please help! I’m worried about my fish!
no, they’re in small shells, and don’t wiggle, but thanks for answering!

If they are very small and wiggle, they are probably planaria, also known as flatworms. The ones found in fish tanks are harmless. However, they are usually a sign that the fish are overfed. The planaria feed on the uneaten fish food and multiply. They seem to be especially common in tanks with undergravel filters.
Some fish will eat planaria, but some don’t seem to find them tasty.
