Is there any type of ‘Mini’ star fish that could go in a 10 gallon Saltwater aquarium?

I really want a star fish but most of them get big. Is there any type of ‘mini’ starfish that could go in a 10 gallon? I know there are some that only get 1 inch in diameter and some that only get 3 inches in diameter, will starfish like those work?
Also do starfish produce alot of waste?
Its not likley that Im going to have any corals so it will probably just be a saltwater tank.
Would this star fish work?

On the link to the one from petco it says that type does well in small aquariums.
Are sea stars compaitble with inverts such as shrimp, snails, and crabs?

I would most likely choose a comb starfish because it is only 20 cm in diameter but i think that its good if you have more than one if you need more details on these go to the links at the bottom of the page at my sources!

Let me start by saying I do not know the answer to your question. I will ask my husband and get back you you.
I wanted to ask if you have a nanoreef or just a Saltwater fish tank. We have a 14 gallon saltwater fish tank and a 29 gallon Nanoreef.
I have kept a “rockpool” type tank before with a couple of Cushion stars. Worked well.
Now these were just caught at the local beach, were a coldwater tank, but rockpool critters are generally pretty hardy regarding temperature and salinity changes so they do OK in a small tank.

No. There are indeed small starfishes, but none of them would survive in a 10-gallon aquarium. They have this in common with the vast majority of other saltwater organisms.
There are a few species but the problem is star fish are not beginner animals and they need a larger aquarium not because of size but because they will often starve to death in the home aquarium. they need a rich sand bed and obv more the better so a 10 gallon wont have enough.
Also the aquarium really need to be established.
You best with no star.
Umm… There are these “astrea” starfish, I believe, and they are tiny and come on live rock. My nano has a ton of them, and we didn’t pay a penny for them. Aside from those, I don’t know of any starfish that do well in nanos. Most don’t even do well in full fledged tanks because they need lots of grazing room.
They don’t produce a lot of waste, and whatever they do produce they make up for by consuming other tank wastes.
Astea star fish are considered pest. Even though they will not harm anything they will quickly over run a tank
