Is there a separator for a 10 Gallon aquarium?
by Aquaboy on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 | 9 Comments
We bought a leopard puffer and we were warned that he is aggressive but we thought the other fish could keep up with him. He has chomped on a couple of the fish. We don’t want to get rid of him, so….
Is there a separator for such a small tank?

i don’t think so, but u can just get him a seperate ten gallon tank. it’s cheap, about 10 dollars at Petco
Yes I would think any pet store that sells fish would have that in stock.
Yes, there are separators for that size of a tank, but you may need to ask a pet store to special order it for you because it’s not a very common item so they may not have any in stock.
yes you have to special order it though
Yes. It goes across from front to back. It is a piece of plastic with holes punched in to allow flow of water. It has two tracks. Try a fish shop or pet shop.
N oI don’t think they sell 10 gallon separators but you could keep looking cause you might be able to find one
There are dividers for 10 gallon tanks that allow water to circulate. Check your pet store. The dividers are easy to install and are not permanent.

You should listen to what the people tell you when buying new fish. Never assume your fish can keep up. Puffers have been known to destroy whole tanks.
I reccommend taking him back or you risk stressing out your fish even with a divider.
But if you insist, yes there is a divider for 10 gallons. You can get one at Petsmart.
