Is my gourami pregnant or ill?

I bought a female dwarf gourami a few days ago, and the belly area looks really fat. I don’t think it has breeded with the male already in the tank since it was already quite big. It stays at the bottom of the tank a lot and doesn’t move. the Pectoral fin doesnt move at all sometimes and it leans over to the side like a dead fish. I’m really worried. Thx for all the answers!
it also comes up to the surface and then goes back down to the bottom

If it leans over to the side it’s probably got swim bladder, where it gets air bubbles and can’t regulate its buoyancy properly. You can get medication to put in the water but I don’t think it really works all that well.
I don’t think your Gourami could be pregnant coz they are egg bearers so they don’t keep their young inside of them.
yes i think it has swimbladder diesease which means it cant control its bouyancy it happens when they have been fed just flake food or pellet all fish need a variety of food if you feed some live food or freeze dried daphnia that will help sort it out and buy some medication it needs food to flush it out as its a bit constipatated as well. hope this helps it helped my fish when it had it so shod work
