Is it possible to study sharks in an aquarium environment?

Um..yeah I am serious. I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t. I’m just curious because I don’t live on the coast.
Oh and by the way..if you’re unable to give me an actual answer, please do not simply drabble. Thanks.

R u serous?
for a serious study u need to control a lot of thing like the development of a shark in their own environment , the way he catches the food, the reproduction of them, interactions with humans and a lot of other things so i dont think u would be able t do it on an aquarium because in an aquarium u cant touch them , u can only see them swim and that is not very helpful hehe , besides to study a shark u need to ” follow them ” for a long time! so u can see the different thing a shark can do…
but remember an aquarium is only for exhibition not for a serious study!
good luck!
