It’ll all depend on the types of fish you want, but yes, clown fish would be just fine in a 50 gallon tank. The larger the tank, the easier it is to maintain the fragile saltwater parameters. Blue Tangs (Dory) would also be fine in that sized tank.

It all depends on the kind of fish you wanna get.

First if your getting a nemo which are very expensive to maintain you should go with 120 gallons. 50 gallons is pretty big but for salt water and maybe a nemo you need space my friend. Also the more space you have the less cleaning you have to do. Because if you have space and the budget you can buy plants and aquatic stuff that will clean your tank for you. Well maybe youll need to still do a clean up once in a time but I would just recommand 120 gals. If you cant then go with 50 but youll have a harder time with your fish and salt water.

50 gallons is perfect for saltwater. I’ve seen much smaller tanks than that set up for saltwater.

Saltwater tank depends on what kind of fish you want to keep and the tank size setup so ask a good pet shop that specializes in saltwater fish and reef inverts to get a good answer and to get a first hand at looking at the tank they have!!

50 gallons would be fine for your clown fish. I had one for several years in a 20 gallon tank.

The exact species of clown fish you are looking at is either Amphiprion ocellaris or Amphiprion percula. They look very similar to each other.

Forget about an anemone now. They can be difficult at best to keep alive in captivity. Clown fish do fine without them. And forget about adding the Blue Hippo Tang (Dori). These fish need an aquarium that is at least six feet long. They just get too big for your 50 gallon tank.

The rule of thumb for saltwater fish is one inch of fish per four gallons of water. You can have a total of 12 inches of fish (adult size) for your tank.
