There is a list of fish that are good in a “nano” reef – 8 gallons or more here: http://liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15+2124
Good luck.
a spotted cardinal fish a ocellaris clownfish and a firefish and ten pounds of live rock and 5 snails and 5 hermit crabs al those are beautiful fish
With that small of a tank, it’s best to keep only 1-2 fish. At least 8 pounds of live rock, 2 snails (dont put any more they can breed pretty quick my tank is infested with tiny little snails that come out at night). Go with a hardy fish, such as a clownfish. The smaller the tank, the bigger the chance something can go way wrong. Do weekly water tests for ammonia, nitrite, ph, alk, etc. And I would do a 10% water change each week to make sure the water is stable. U can also do 2 firefish, they’re pretty although I dont know how hardy they are. Good luck!
