I have an aquarium tank that is giving me small shocks. How can I ground it?

I can’t seem to track down which piece of equipment is giving me a small shock whenever I stick my hand in my aquarium, but for now I need to ground it so I stop getting these small shocks. How can I set up a ground so that the shocks stop?

Your problem is larger than you getting shocked. It is not safe to house any living thing in that tank until you figure out what it is.
Why are you sticking your hand in an electrically-charged tank of water? Seriously. How about you try something easier, like Sea Monkeys?
One of the electrical gizmos in the tank is faulty. Track it down and replace it, before it kills you.

Edit: have someone that knows CPR stand near the main power switch while you figure out what is wrong.
