1000 goldfish or 1000 beta fish
3 white cloud tetras/minnows
3 zebra danios
2 albino rainbow sharks
1 pleco
I wouldn’t do snails
Why am I getting a thumbs down for that?
gouramis, picasamus, red sharks, goldfish
Do not put little fish though like guppis, they WILL get eaten
trust me
yes you can have a sucker fish or snails in a 10 gallon tank with tropical fish. just keep in mind some sucker fish can grow really large and may out grow your tank
My favorite stocking for a 10 gallon tropical community is:
6-8 neon tetras (top level)
1 single male betta OR dwarf gourami (middle level)
3-5 corydoras (bottom level “sucker” fish)
a pleco(suckerfish) will out grow you tank.
for your size tank stick with neons, small tetras mollies, plateys, and cory cats.
10 – 12 fish max
In a ten gallon tank you can only actually fit 2(MAX) fish and up to 5 smaller fish. (Tetras, danios.)
Angel or cool but they get big and you will need a larger tank later on. I suggest you try mollies, platys or other fish that don’t get two big. Clown loaches are a good option however they are the same as angel fish and are prone to many dieaseses. If you are getting tetras and danios keep in mind that they like to nip and will cause problems like fin rot to your other fish that are too slow to swim away.
Gourami’s are okay however they are VERY territorial and will get aggressive if you put two in a 10 gallon tank even so putting one will make it lonely.
You may if you wish put more than 2 fish in your tank however even though it may not seem like it, your tank is crowded and yu will need a strong filter.
white cloud minnows, mollies, gourmai, loaches, tetras, chichilids, small eels, snails would work just be careful to not let them get eatin. orandas, any small fish.
oh there are endless possibilities my fvvorite combinations are 7 guppies

also for these fish you would need an heater
and Yes snails are great and so are suckers thy’re great cleaning helpers!!
feel free to mix and match the fish !!!
good luck

Most of these suggestions are horrible. Do not get goldfish, catfish, sharks, or any eels. The full grown fish will not be able to live in a 10 gallon tank. Get fish that ONLY grow up to 1-3 inches. With a 10 gallon tank, you could do the 1″ range mark (I won’t say rule because it doesn’t apply in all cases), and get fish that grow around 10-12 inches total. Not a 10-12 inch fish.
Corydoras
Guppies
Platies
Tetras
As for a sucker fish or algae eater, for a 10 gallon, purchase 2 ottos. Even the dwarf plecos will trump your 10 gallons size. As for snails, you could get a mystery snail, but in my opinion I would rather get shrimp, (cherry red shrimp or amano).

yes you can
um, a nice community tank could have:
platys
swordtails
black widows
guppies
neons
danios
rummy nosed tetra
dwarf croaking gourami
clown killifish
and you can have snails in ur tank, like mystery snails, but some snails are bad and can breed like crazy! i wouldnt get any plecos, but cory cats are good! get like 3 panda corys. and shrimp maybe would be good. theres amano shrimp, red cherry, and ghost shrimp. i hope that helps a little…

This is the coolest little fish i have ever seen, great for a small tank.
no pelcos, they can be 12+inches. 7 cardinal or neon tetras would look good, or maybe a few white cloud minnows
i think that Tetra Neons would be able to get along in the 10 gallon tank, but don’t put a lot of them on it, because they need space to swinm freely
