I am setting up a 60 gallon hexagon saltwater tank-I was wondering what the best fish were for the shape/size?

of the tank….heard that some fish do better in rectangular tanks….but then have seen hexagon tanks like ours with those fish in them!!….just confused…am a beginner to the saltwater aquarium setup…thanks

I would try just a bunch of plain, ordinary goldfish.
But thats just me.
I have a hexagonal tank, and my fish are fine.
Lionfish would be great. They’re one of my favorite marine fish. Beautiful and majestic, they make a fascinating aquarium occupant. I could watch them for hours. Just don’t get the larger species.
Seahorse and pipefish can be kept with them.
The second site below contains great info and fantastic photos of various lionfish species.
Lionfish can not be kept with seahorse! They will outcompelte seahorses and pipefish for food! I have to say the tank is a great size for seahosrses, but seahorses are not for a saltwater beginner!
Try a pair of clownfish, a dwarf angel and a few variouse types of gobys. Fill it with live rock, maybe some type of sea star, and some hermit crabs or reguler shaped crabs! Just research before you buy!
well you can try a few fish like 4 benagaii cardinals, a six line wrasse, a pair of maroon clownfish, 1 Cave Transparent Goby, a Coral Beauty Angelfish, and a beautiful Orange Butterflyfish and a few inverts to keep algae under control like dwarf zebra hermit crabs, cleaner shrimp and some snails
