How to cure my sick Sunburst Platy Fish?
I have a 20 Gallon tank with 4 Sunburst Platies, 4 Mickey Mouse Platies, and 4 Peppered Catfish. One of my Sun Platies is sick and I took it out of the tank so it wouldn’r infect my other fish. It was laying on the bottom of the tank and couldn’t swim well and falls on its side. I put a bacteria tablet into the bowl that I put the fish in. Should I put it back in the tank or keep it in the bowl??
you cant take a sick fish and put it in a unheated, unfiltered, uncycled tank to treat it, that just makes it sicker, and you cant treat fish with medicine if you dont know whats wrong with it. unfortunatly it sounds like the fish is not gonna live much longer, and its better for your healthy fish not to put it back in the tank. do some research on fish disease so you can be prepared next time,
