How to cure my black moor with fin rot?

Problem: My black moor had been stressed/depressed, sitting in the corner of the tank for 2 days before he developed what looks to be tail rot. His fantail is beginning to fray and it looks shredded. He also appears dusty; I don’t know how else to describe it. I did a 75% water change, dechlorinated the water, added aquarium salt (and continue to add 2 tbsp every day), added CopperSafe, and now am adding Maracyn-Two, but so far nothing has improved and, if possible, the fin rot looks worse today. Am I doing all that I can? Am I doing anything wrong? What should I do?

Background: I have a 10 gallon tank with a filter an a light (light on for about 4 hours a day, off at night), with 1 black moor goldfish and 1 oranda. They get along fine and were both previously healthy. Lately the oranda seems to have ick, or white spots on her tail, and the black moor seems to have fin rot. As of this morning the pH is 7.2, the Ammonia is 0, and the temperature is 78 degrees.
The fish stores I have been to say that warmer water temperatures help them fight off disease, as does the aquarium salt.

get a bigger tank… and turn the light off. goldfish love colder water and that should reduce stress as well as help it heal.

you have 2 fish in a 10 gallon tank that is why they are sick you should have at least a 40 gallon tank for the pair
the reason they are sick is because your water is poor ,you did a 75% water change why?
you never do such drastic water changes in a tank.
you are adding chemicals left right and centre and salt as well are you trying to kill your fish
if one has ich and one had fin or tail rot you need to treat the diseaseseparatelyy each medication has instructions
if im honest changing all that amount of water and adding all those chemicals plus salt i doubt they will survive any way

When you change the water, do you add a slime coat protecter? For ich use, Quick Cure. It is a lot better than other ich medacine. While treating for ich, keep your heater on. After the ick is gone, take the heater out.

you can do a 75% water change on your tank and it will not hurt anything. i do them on my tanks weekly. all 100 of them. just make sure your tank has cycled completely before doing this. the salt is great but keep in mind to much salt can hurt at a high level. goldfish can handle it for alittle. you may try using tetracycline. use it as the direction say. you may have to use it for 3 weeks instead of the 2. as others have said please get them a bigger tank. they will be happier. good luck hope they get better. after they are better take the heater out. goldfish are my Favorit fish i have 65 of them. i have a 500 gallon pond

Hi my name is sam and i have a 14 litre tank. i have recenctly noticed that my blackmoor has been sitting in the same corner of the tank for the most of the day until feeding time. is this normal? some times when its foraging along the bottom it will leen to one side. he doesnt seem to have any diseases such as white spot but does quite often shake his dorsal fin rapidly up and down. he now lives on his own as recently my other goldfish died so could this just be a sign of stress? his tail seams to be slightly fraying on his tail but no much i was thinking this is just natural? does my fish have any diseases and what can i do to cure it? please help.
