how much money will a 100 gallon corner reef aquarium cost me? at minimum and maximum i need a range. I want a lightning system that can sustain any type of animal i might obtain through out the years. i also want to run with a refugium as my filtering system.

rofl sure you wanna spend 2800-4000 on a new tank when you can get the same thing only used on craig or another site like that for 1200 to 2000 with everthing…. go for it
Well… Like, for everything? Easily over 1000. Possibly over 2000. It may be even more than that, I guess it depends how you approach the setup.
Its expensive as an initial setup, because there is alot of stuff thats required.
Theres a 34-39 gallon setup (I dont remember the exact gallon) at my local store… It has everything youll need for a saltwater setup, they even add liverock to the deal. Its somewhere around 8-900 dollars.
Ok petco sells a 92 gal corner tank for $500 no stand the stand is $1026. So already you are looking at $1526 not including the stuff.
Lighting will be hard to get for that shape. Keep thing cheap to do is by a hanging one that will run you $90-$400
Protien skimmer 140-300
Filter 125-400
Sand $60-70
Saltmix $50-100 depending on how much you want at one time.
Heater 30-80
Test kit 35
Live rock. $8 per pound you will need 90lb $720 but you could just buy 50lb and buy 40 lb of base rock to save money since the base rock will become live over time.
Sump 30gal or bigger make it your self for $40 if you by a used 30gal used.
So you might get away with 2,700 min but most likely it will run 3,500-4,500. I did not include fish or coral.
If you are ok with having a normal rectangel shape your could find a used one with everything on craigslist for a good price.
