i just put in about 25 pounds is that ok how much can it hold with water and bigger rocks
i bought some pea peddals from home depot for the gravel i only paid $2.49 for a 25 pound bag seems to work
it’s thick glass but this guy gave it to me and said he had 500 pounds of rock in it idk if thats true or not

i think thats t0o much weight on the glass i would just take it out and build fromt he bottom up so put rock in and then fill with water 25 pounds plus water your tank can handle im sure but i wouldnt risk it its gonna be a mess if it cracks
MAKE SURE THE FLOOR CAN SUPPORT IT TOO, CALL AN AQUARIUM DEALER AND TOO.
it depends on how you arrange your rocks
it would largely depend on the thickness of the glass that your aquarium was built on. If the glass is thick (around 1/4 inch) then its really good and you won’t need support for it, if its around 1/8 inch then you should just put in a realtively easy load or have your aquarium base re-done install base support.
As a long time keeper of rock dwelling fish I can tell you I’ve always put how much I need in the tank and it’s never cause a problem. My current 75 gallon mbuna tank has roughly 150 pounds of limestone, plus the sand. The tank can handle it. Just make sure you place the bottom rocks on the bottom of the tank, not on the substrate, to keep the formation stable.
