    probably five gallons.

10 gal tank. No need to buy a big filter. A small one will work great. You can get them pretty cheap.

a normal builders bucket is around the five gallon mark a house hold bucket like a mope bucket is about 3 and a half gallons so with this you can work it out, the other way is to actually tell us the size in inches height, width, length,
    hope this helps

  4. Tall Guy says:

just measure the length, height and width then on your calculator type in the length then x (times it) height then x it then enter the width x that then divide it by 1000 then what every comes up will be how much water your tank can hold then to find out the gallons go to this website it is good. just enter how many liters it is then you will get all the measurements.

Look in the table of the leaflet you get inside your Safe Water box or the
like.It has a gallon-litre table for fish tanks.

Can you measure it? That should let you answer your own question with more certainty.

    A typical 10g tank is roughly 20 x 10 x 12 inches. 17 liters is a lot closer to 5 gallons.
