I think silver dollars and angels might be a bit much for this tank, it’s pretty narrow. Learn about angels at .
dude. your good. 55 gallon is freaking huge you could fit a ton of crap in there. 3-5 would be a good amount. and the balas wont out grow it. don’t wory.
i hate people who say that balas need like 1,0000 gallons. there fish they’ll only get as big as the tank will let them!
fish DON’T only get as big as the tank is, that is a completely ignorant thing to think, and to think that even that is okay is retarded. fish outgrow tanks or get stunted and either way it’s not good for their health. it’d be like keeping a great dane or st. bernard in a 3×3 area all there life. not good for fish.
make sure you move the balas once they get bigger.
as far as angels, if you had a breeding pair, you could do two, but a 55 isn’t big enough for two territories so only one would be reasonable or you’re going to have a lot of aggression and fighting.
you don’t have enough room in a 55 for a school of silver dollars either, sorry.
try some smaller community fish like tetras or corys.
