How does a female guppy act when about to give birth?

I just got a female and male guppy today at Petsmart. The lady said that the female looked very pregnant. Are there any signs or actions that show a female guppy is about to give birth?

Any help is very appreciated!! Thanks :)
Nancy- Guppies are live bearers. They don’t lay eggs. They have real babies right away and can swim right away, too.

she will try to hide start to breath fast try to separate her from males so she wont be stressed snymore then needed

You will notice the female will get a large black spot directly infront of the anal fin. (The spot will be internal colouring not actually on the scales.) Increased abdomen size is also a indication.

Good luck, female guppies are very vulnerable to death during giving birth.

u should separate her wen u no she is pregnant is the first thing. wen she is giving birth its like she is looking upwards and she lays the eggs on the wall. if she is at the bottom of the tank she just starts laying her eggs. their stomachs get very clear wen about 2 give birth.
