How do you get a Whisper 30/60 aquarium filter pump restarted after a power failure?

   I know that with my filter pump I have to poor water directly into it to get it going again…have you tried that?

   1st is the pump still running?
   if it is pour water directly into it and it will start pumping it again, it is also called priming the pump
   sounds like your water level is too low as well
