How do I know if my Betta fish is happy?

My Betta fish is swimming around like crazy. With No nesting bubbles.
Nesting Bubbles= happiness right?
I have like a round bowl for him (his name is Gill)
I keep his water at 82oF and he loves his fake plants and he swims through them i keep his bowl clean and everything. But he doesn’t move as much as he did what is wrong I can’t get a bigger tank i know i should have a bigger bowl (see pic attached) but i can’t one.
So what do i do and how do i know know if he is happy or not?

bubbles do NOT = happy
bubble nests mean the fish instinctively feels the need to build a bubble nest. some never build them even though they are healthy and happy. some build them while dying of an awful disease and are not healthy.
how do you keep his bowl so warm when the smallest heater made is for 2.5gallons?
the problem with bowls (besides that you can’t safely heat them) is that they need full water changes. this is VERY stressful for the fish. do you test your water?

sorry, but if you cannot give an animal proper care, DON’T get it!
Bubble just mean that they want to mate with a female if there is a female in the tank! haha
He seems very happy if he is swimming around a lot, and remember fish sleep too, my aunt has a betta fish, he is about 2 years old now! He spends a lot of time at the bottom, but when you go near him he shoots up and he likes it when you sing in the bowl! He jut lives in a normal bowl, no fliter, no light, nothing, and he’s lived for so long! Good luck!
Bowls are animal cruelty. That is completely inhumane! A betta needs a 5+ gallon heated and filtered aquarium. Please do research BEFORE buying a pet!!!
Your betta is happy, WHY? because:
1. he loves the fake plants
2. swims around
NOTE:
1.) what is the signs of happiness of your betta is:
1. swims around his bowl
2. spreading his fins and tales
3. eats like a pig
4. energetic
2.) and what is the signs of sickness of betta?:
1. the gills is open and close every time ( in a slow movement of gills or your betta )
2. not swimming around
3. he is not eating
4. not energetic and sometimes he is sleeping in the top of the water or in the side of fish bowl to get an air outside of the water
3.) and also what is the signs of your betta when it’s ready to die?:
1. changing color…For example: the color of you betta is BLUE and you are confused why is my betta is changing color to gray or getting no color and its all white! = it’s signs your betta will die in a minutes or seconds
2. your betta is needing air and sleeping in the top of water or in the side of bowl ( in a slow movement to get an air in the outside of bowl )
3. the gills is open and close and it’s moderately fast ( this is the last stage of the gills when it’s ready to die or sometimes the gills is very slow to move it cause the betta is have low on nutrition when the gills are fast of open and close he is fighting his sickness )
4. the fins and tales are getting close or it’s mean the tales and fins is not spreading
5. and 5 your betta is die…….
So, why is my betta is not making a bubble nest?:
because your betta is too young and it’s not ready to mate with female betta
so you will do is just care of him and wait until the betta make his bubble nest so he is ready to mate with the females
