Not necessarily. The eggs are not laid in sacs but each fallen egg is picked up by the male and placed in the bubblenest. Look in the bubblenest and if you see tiny white spots…then they have indeed spawned but if you setup is not correct…you have wasted your time as the female should be removed right after they finish spawning and the male should be removed once the fry becomes free swimming. Then you have to feed the fry Greenwater/Infusoria for the first few weeks until they are old enough to eat brineshrimp and then they graduate to flakes. It is not a easy job taking care of betta fry that requires around the clock care. It is also not a good idea if you are not breeding to sale these guys.
i doubt it very much have you conditioned them for a week at least but the female in a glas chimney see thru tube and a sson as the bublenest is done release her sometimes she will destroy the bublenest as it may not be safe for her and he will keep making a new 1 until its right for her and he will chase her and chew of her fins this could take 5 days and then when you see the pair at the bublenest watch them realy close wen she is at the bublenest and he doesnt chase her he still flares a bit then he should start breeding with her by wraping himself around her and then about 10 eggs drop out each time he does this and they can have upto 500 eggs then when he is chasing her trying to kill her be very slowly and take her out without disturbibg the nest and u should have babies in 2 to 3 days hoped this helped thanks
the male makes his bubble nest. then you need a suitable female and be aware they are very picky. when they lay the eggs the male will wrap himself around the female and she will lay the eggs in mid water and they will sink. the male picks them up and putss then within the bubbles. usually the female dies because this is alot of stress and you want to remove her into her own tank. you want to leave the male in for a while as he will help the babies from sinking.
but no. thise white sacks are not eggs.
Not necessarily but it can be.
In order to breed betta successfully you need to Condition the female first. This Betta species is a Bubble-nest builder. There are many ways to set up a breeding aquarium for the pair, and not enough room to supply details on them all. There are two popular ways to breed the Siamese Fighting-fish- in an aquarium specially set for the pair, which should be at a volume of at least 20 liters (5.2 gallons), and the Thai-way, which uses large Plant-pots. In any of these ways, the fish must be conditioned well before introducing the pair. Conditioning is made by feeding the fish live or frozen foods about two to three times a day, and making frequent water changes. Conditioning should take about two weeks at least, and can take up to one month, depending on the food quality and water temperature.
