How do African cichlids get from the lakes in Africa to our aquariums in the United States?

    They are bred in the US.

    i think its by feeding the one in our proper town and i got 5cichlids they are not so expensive 4 their life extension.
    cichlids are kind of angry fish

    Well, Diver would go to the lake, net the fish, then bring it to the processing company where they test/pack/legalize to send it here because some fish are illegal to send to the US. Then people here just breed them to reduce cost.
