How can I put my goldfish out of its misery?

I have two goldfish. Yesterday, I came home to see that one of them, to be as accurate as possible, didn’t have a face. His lips were as if they were ripped off. At first, I suspected they had fought, but they never had any problems before. While cleaning the tank to prevent any kind of infection I found his missing parts in the filter. I think he got caught in there which caused his present predicament. I’ve moved him to a smaller tank away from the other fish, but he has trouble eating and doesn’t move much. Since last night the water has become clouded and is tinged pink. I don’t know if I should wait any longer to do something, it just hurts me to have him like this. How should I go about doing this?

get a chair stand on top of it and get a blow gun and try to hit it
If he is bleeding he is probably dying. If you flush him it will probably kill him, but it might not. I would maybe just take him out of the water. It will be difficult, but it will stop his pain. If you think he might heal go buy goldfish anti stress drops at your pet store. They will calm him down and might lessen the pain.
it is very easy to do,you will need some tank water and a plastic bag and some salt .place the tank water in the plastic bag along with the goldfish and some salt and put it into the freezer,it seems horrible to do but it is the only humane thing to do.have done it a couple of times.
Clove Oil, and Vodka. You can use just clove oil but you’ll need to use a lot more.

I’ve used it on my sick sick goldfish before and they just peacefully fell asleep
Don’t flush him, fish often stay alive for quite a while after flushing and suffer even more from all the chemicals down there

Maybe its ‘just a fish’ to some people, but some good people actually care about the welfare of the fish. Just because you can’t pet it or take it for walks like a dog, doesn’t mean you don’t have to look after it. It may be a fish but it still feels pain and deserves to be looked after and have a peaceful death. Why do other animals deserve a peaceful death while fish don’t?
I know how you feel, it is heartbreaking. Take the fish out, cover it with a hankerchief or similar and hit it in the head with a hammer, its the quickest and easiest way for it to go I think. I am sorry x

just get a knife and split it. quick and easy is the best way. after you get rid of him just get another, just like nothing ever happened.

I have heard the most humane way is to freeze him, into a baggie and into the freezer
The only one that is truly humane is the clove oil and vodka one, the fish will just fall asleep and not wake up. If you dont want to go through the trouble of getting those things, then just take the fish out in a bag and quickly cut its head off with a knife against a cutting block or something, its quick and should be painless if done quickly. (It will be harder on you than flushing it, but will save the fish the horrible and painful experience of the ice cold toilet water along with having to breathe the waste it meets after flushed.
Set him on your driveway in a plastic bag full of water. back your car over it.

put it on the end of a fishook and go catch a bass
let it go in water, a bigger fish will get the job done
take it out of the water and drown it
make a filet fish

O.K well a fish um the easiest way that you could possibly do i could think of to clear your mine i guesse you could take a knife and quickly (i know this sounds mean) but chop it right where its neck or head and gills that should kill it istanly

3.OR choke it by its gills or just let it out of its tank
if your close to it anyway to kill it other yuthanizing it is gonna be emotinal painfull for you but i wouldnt pay to go get it yuthanized its still and fish.. (no Offence) Or let it live if its happy and not in to much pain (but who knows)

Get a container. Something with a lid. Place the fish with it’s water into it and place it in the freezer. This is like a natural euthanization process for the fish. The water will slowly freeze with the fish in it. He will not even notice it. Soon his organs and respiratory system will slow to a halt.
