How big should my molly fry be when I release them back into the tank?

My molly had fry about 2 weeks ago and they are growing really fast. They seem to be crowded in the net breeder and they keep trying to play with the Danio’s that chase each other outside the net. None of the fish in my tank have a big enough mouth to eat them in one gulp. Is it safe to release them into the tank or will they get eaten? I have 4 mollies, 4 platies, 2 guppies, 3 danios and 2 cory cats. They may also be acting kinda goofy because the guppy just had a fry which are in the same net breeder as them. Help!

yes, as long as the fry cant fit in the bigest mouth in your tank.

I never use breeder TRAPS, or remove the fry from the main tank. I have live floating plants that give protection for the fry to still live in the main tank without having to move them to a fry tank (stressing them out).

Plants do help, and seeing you don’t have any fish that can entirely swallow them whole they are fine to be released. But if you want to be on the safe side allow them to grow towards 1″ inch.
