Guppies for feeding fish for my Oscars?

I have 2 tanks my big tank has the oscars and my little one i plan on breeding feeding fish for my oscars so its more healthy.
-Are guppies good for Oscars to eat?
-How many guppies should i start out with?
-How many males? How many females?
-How many babies does one guppy have?
And can i keep the babyies in the same tank with the mommy and daddy cause i really dont want to have to buy another tank

Not really. Of course, “home grown” feeders are much better then the pet store feeders, due to the pet store feeders usually being full of bacteria and parasites. But, the oscars would be better off on a diet of a good pellet food, various worms(no tubifex though), crickets, beefheart, cut up shrimp, fish fillets, crab, etc. Feeders just don’t have the nutrients for them that they need. And, once they start on feeders, some will not eat anything else, so if you ever need to feed a medicated food, you won’t be able to.
My advice, if they’re not on feeders now, don’t start. If they are, then ween them off of them.
.
You have to separate the babies from the father, I’m unsure about the father but I think most adult fish would eat the babies and guppies are feeder fish, so yeah your oscar can eat them. I’m not sure how many it can eat, could just put a few in the tank…it’s kind of like survival of the fittest.
yes guppies are fine to feed your oscars
I would get 30 feeders to start with
20 males 10 females
they can have up to 30 fry
yes you can keep the fry with the parents unlike other fish guppies rarely eat the fry
18 years experience with fish
i would go with store bought
