Freshwater tank with aquarium salt, can I have snails?

I had ich so I added aquarium salt to my 55 gallon tank. My sister came to visit with two small snails, I have them in a ten gallon tank for now. I want to know if they can handle the salt in the water of the big tank. By the way I have done a 50% water change since the salt was added and have not added anymore salt. Also if I were to get ich again can I add the salt with the snails in there in the future.
I added 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons and they are apple snails.

I have multiple ramshorn snails as well as an apple snail (golden mystery snail) in my tank, which is salted at 1 tablespoon per 5 gallons. They are having no problems whatsoever. You didn’t say what the species of snails you have is, so it is impossible to say with certainty that the snails will be fine, but I have never heard of snails having a problem with the low salt content of a salt-treated freshwater tank. You didn’t say how much salt you put in either, but you should be fine.
test if it would be safe by putting only one snail in the salt aquariam for a couple of weeks see how it reacts if it seems ok add the rest of the snails in with it , if it seems sick take it out and put it in a seprate container than the other snails so it doesnt make the other snails sick also!
You can definitely have snails. I got a live plant from the pet store, and it had a couple hundred tiny snails living in the roots. They lived for a long time and I had aquarium salt also.
