Do Whisper aquarium pump filters fit Top Fin pumps?

since Top Fin is an exclusive PetSmart brand i’m looking for an alternative (and hopefully cheaper) brand of filter. the filters i use are Top Fin large 20-60 gallon. i checked out the Whisper large filters at Walmart and they appear to be the same size as the Top Fins.

Often,as is the case in most things, a “name” brand will sell a similar product as a generic or “store” brand … or allow another brand that doesn’t have a product to market their product under that brands name.
Tetra manufactures both the TetraTec and Whisper lines …. and also the TopFin line. They are all rated the exact same flow rating per size.
