DIY Fish Tank Stand and New Cichlid 75 gallon Tank Setup

I upgraded my 40 gallon African Cichlid tank to a 75 gallon. I needed a custom size stand, that I ended up having to build. I know its kind of a long video, but I wanted viewers to get an idea of how I build it. There is video at the end. If you have any questions please ask, and feel free to give me a good rating, this was a lot of work :) If there is enough interest, I will make a video of the canopy build

@bugz289 This project took some time to finish, do to the fact I do not have a lot of clamps for gluing, and the paint had to dry between coats. Im not sure what I spent total, because I had some of the lumber in my garage, and all the screws and what not. Im pretty sure you will kiss a hundred dollar bill goodbye. The total weight was over 100 pounds also

Looks very good. I Need to make a stand to hold a 70G wide aquarium. Hopefully it wont be uneven and ruin my tank.

lol when you shut the light off at 7:51

I’m planning on building a stand of my own soon and your video helped me answer some questions I had.

But if you don’t mind me asking, roughly how much did the supplies cost and how long did it take to complete?

you need live plants in the background potted in pots with topsoil and rocks covering the topsoil for more filtration .

to many fish to start off with. they breed like mad. u should make your rocks more vertical add more rocks and cave areas make better use your rocks

so defiantely add some potted plants
