Crit My Tank????????????????
I have a 22gal saltwater aquarium with a fine sand bed, 12lbs of coraline live rock, 2 bar gobies, 2 emerald crabs, and a tiny hermit crab. I was thinking of getting 2-3 more fish? Bad idea? Over stocking? I was thinking of getting a Green Mandarin Goby. I’ve done a lot of research, and if the fish store I go to has farm raised them, then they *should* be willing to eat frozen shrimp, pellets, etc. Anyway, any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Sure you can add them. The tank will be overstocked but if you have a good protein skimmer and can keep up with the water changes than they’ll be ok. The dragonets that are trained to eat pellet foods are awesome too, and a lot hardier than wild caught ones. Also, I would suggest you get more live rock if your tank is going to be overstocked. 12lbs in a 22gal is probably not sufficient to handle the bioload. You should have atleast 22lbs for your 22gal. I’ve got 25lbs in my 20gal. Good luck!
