Tetras Taking A Swim

FunFishTank.com gives you another video. Featuring Neon Tetras and Black Neon Tetras.

My black neon tetra is really aggressive.. What should i do ?

I had 4 black neon tetra’s in my tank along time ago with other fish and i had a big die off and all the fish died cept 1 black neon tetra and 1 other fish.. I recently fixed the problem in my tank and got new fish and have had them for 3 weeks now. I had 4 Danio rose as some of the newer fish and 1 died, and 1 has a big mark on him and i noticed another seems to have multiple marks on him like they had been in fights.

Iv been watching my fish closely and the danio’s play together alot and no other fish bother them except the black neon tetra.. He constantly attacks them, charges them and gets right on them. I suspect he is the one that might have killed 1 danio and hurt the others.. All my other fish are fine. All my neon tetra’s are alive and fine. Its just the danio’s.

I tried to find more black neon tetra’s so he can have buddys but none of the 6 fish stores i went too had any… So what should i do ? I have another fish tank i can put him in, the tank has 3 Dwarf Gourmies and a bunch id say 8 platy’s and a few bottom feeders. Im thinking maybe since he doesnt attack my platy’s just the danio’s he would be ok in that tank.. I dont know tho hes been in my tank for over a year now so its “his” home.

Tiger Barb Fighting

3 Tiger Barb fighting each other

I have a 75 gallon fresh water fish tank and it seems like every swordtail fish I get ends up dying. Why?

My tank is cycled and all chemicals are water tests are good but my swordtail fish keep dying. The first ones lasted several months but started “bending” and then died. I bought 3 more and the one died within a few days and another within a few weeks but no symptoms of any kind of disease or anything. Now it is almost a month and the female was floating this morning. I’ve had tanks for years and never had this problem. All the other fish do good. Any ideas?

silverdollar2

My fast growing Silver Dollar fish. Two months old feeding on Algae Wafers (HIKARI TROPICAL) . In my 20 year year old 45 gal. hex. These young fish “when fed well” grow to cell phone size over many months. Sorry no music, would like to play JAWS. Shot with my Kodak 12 meg px camera with High Def video. 5/2/09 (video 2)

Guess how long this Silver Arowana is.

I thought we would try something new. Everyone guess how big Gandalf is and once there are enough guesses ill post the answer video. You can't miss him, he is the one I pick up. I gave you some clues/

What will go with my tank? ( 2 Zebra Danio, 2 Serpae Tetra, 1 Tiger Barb)?

I kind of what a livebearer but I’m not sure if thats possible with the barb there. BTW, all the fish are smal and under 1″
