Are These Salt Water Fish Easy To Keep?

Hi, I’m going to start fish-keeping, and I’ve chosen for a salt water reef tank. Are these fish easy to take care of and suitable for beginners? I’ve had a fresh water aquarium in the past.

Are Live Bearers(guppy, Molly, Platy And Swordtail) Brackish Water?

I know that molly are considered brackish(if I’m not wrong?). They do best in brackish water and will live fine in freshwater. Sometimes they can even live in saltwater!
What about the other live bearers? How well do they tolerate saltwater? What type of water do they prefer and origin from?
Since molly can live in freshwater and tolerate the minerals levels in freshwater, do you need to use marine salt mix(which has minerals and important stuff in it) to make brackish water then? Since they do tolerate the mineral levels freshwater has, adding salts like aquarium salt will not make ocean water quality, but they don’t need it in the first place so will normal salty water work? I know using aquarium salt is best to treat diseases, but I’m asking this because I’m curious.
I know that real brackish water fish need marine salt mixes, and not plain aquarium salt, but what about our hardy molly?

Need Brackish Water And Salt Experts!?

Being new to brackish water fish keeping I’m so confused about how to make brackish water. Some people recommend aquarium salt, sea cooking salt, table salt, marine salt etc.
With some research and logic thinking the marine salt mix is apparently what I should use. How can so many people recommend salts like table salt? How long can fish live in table salt and why would somebody waste money on marine salt if table salt works?
Some people recommend table salt/rock as a replacement for aquarium salt, and some are against this. Table salt and other cooking salts are only salty and don’t have the minerals and other stuff like in marine salt. I know that cooking salt don’t have stuff like calcium in it which fish needs, but are there anything added in it which is dangerous to fish? What is exactly the different between table salt and aquarium salt?
I need some short and easy to understand information about all types of salts and how it is used in the aquarium hobby. Like aquarium salt is used to treat diseases in freshwater tank, marine salt for saltwater tanks, and what it contains and why you should not use some specific salts in different types of aquariums and so on…
More information and websites are appreciated.

Starting Out With Hermit Crabs?

I currently have an empty 10 Gallon aquarium, and am thinking of starting out with hermit crabs. I’ve done some research, and just have some questions.
1. How many crabs should i house in that aquarium
2. I live in Singapore, a tropical place, and it’s HUMID AS HELL. even with my airconditioner on, it only reaches 25C, or 77F. Must i use a glass lid to hold in the humidity or just a net to prevent the crabs from escaping.
3. Must i purchase marine salt, or can i use the aquarium salt i have (no idea what’s the difference)
4. Anything else i need? i will purchase play sand, shells and i’m probably going to use some containers for the food, salt water and fresh water bowls. I have some leftover driftwood from my aquarium, but must i dry it out before i use it?
5. Do i need plants?
6. I believe the hermies here are ruggies, so are there any special things I need to know? Also, I saw some red hermit crabs, would those be ruggies or strawberries or something.
6. Should this be in other-pets or fish-pets :D
