Catching marine tropical fish for my fish tank. DIY

25

Basically me showing how I catch tropical fish to put in my 75 gallon tank. Right now I have in the tank: 3 neon gobies, bridled goby, Blue angel, French Angel, Pudding wife wrasse, Princess parrotfish, Flamefish, Highhat, Black olive snail, 3 turbo snails, coral banded shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, emerald crab, cherry crab, and Arrow head crab. I catch all the fish for my tank, and they are all native to florida.

MrNailDUDE @ 7:17 pm #

Redbull357 @ 7:42 pm #

Thanks for the reply. I used to work in a Saltwater Fish shop so I know how much they cost! You are lucky to have those… I live in Texas and all I can find are striped damsels and peppermint shrimp. Tell me exactly how you trap them in at 10-15 feet. This is very interesting to me. Thanks in advance! -Jason

JohnElwaymaniac @ 7:49 pm #

I only had to go in about 10 to 15 ft. deep. it was really easy.

Look up prices for juvenile french and Blue angelfish. you’ll see! : )

JohnElwaymaniac @ 7:51 pm #

Google image “Juvenile Princess parrotfish” you will find the answer.

@PimpJuice5100 It just makes owning tropical fish all the more interesting!

We strive for knowledge, and learning how things work makes us less ignorant.

And I sympathize with the price of fish, they are indeed expensive.

PimpJuice5100 @ 12:35 am #
