Can you mix a red ear slider turtle with fish in an aquarium?

I have a red ear slider turtle. I got him last August in downtown L.A. and he was very small. He has grown quickly, and is almost ready to leave his 10 gallon aquarium to a 30 gallon. My question is the following: is it safe to mix a red ear slider turtle with other aquarium fish? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think that the turtle will eat the fish but will do research.
I’m sure it depends on what type of fish and how well all the animals are fed.
You could put him in with lager gold fish, but he might eat them! My suggestion is if you want to put him with fish get really big gold fish. He shouldn’t try to bother them.
The only fish you could mix with a turtle are poisionous fish (not good for a turtle that doesn’t know!) or large, adult koi, which are mostly pond fish.
No by nature the turtles consume fish as part of their diet
Sure ya, go ahead and mix em up., Your turtle will love you for it, as for the fish, buuurppp , what was I saying now?
You should do it, it will be fun. I am currently turtle-sitting four red ear sliders over the holidays and I have had much enjoyment putting goldfish in with the turtles. I even got a turtle to eat a goldfish that I dangled over the tank.
No the turtle will most likely eat your fish. I also read somewhere that the turtles waste can sometimes be toxic to the fish. so be careful
NO! Bad news for the fish and the environment! Remember that fish need very clean water and turtles make very disgusting water quick (but I love them anyway!!!) Ideally a goldfish should have a 55 gallon aquarium and can live up to 20 or more years!
I would. But I like seeing things kill and eat other things
If you want the slider to eat his new buddies, then yes. if you want to keep your fish in one piece, then NO. In the wild, sliders eat fish, and other small amphibians.
