i have a freshwater fish tank and I was wondering can it be freshwater for a month and a half. Then how many table spoons of salt should I put. I know to use aquarium salt.

If thats a real silver tipped shark which I doubt I’d think about getting rid of it

Doesn’t sound like a friendly pet fish to have.
More likely it’s one of those pet store “sharks” that aren’t real sharks which shouldn’t have a problem with fresh water unless the pet shop specified otherwise.
I don’t know what kind of silver tipped sharks u have but mine are in fresh water tanks all the time.
Silver tip sharks or Colombian sharks are brackish fish which do better in schools and will grow real big. When they are young (2-3 inches) I would say that they can live in freshwater, but when thety start to get bigger they are going to need a large brackish aquarium with a specific gravity of about 1.015. If you are just starting a brackish tank, this website is pretty good
