Can I put my molly fish in a vase?
by Aquaboy on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 | 7 Comments
My molly fish is biting all my baby fish and the other fish I already have in a tank. Should I take that one molly that is biting all the fish, out until the fish are grown a little? But I was wondering if it was alright to put him in a vase with no heater? Would that be good? Please Answer!

put the fish in a vase with a peace plant that has the white flowers on it- ask a garden center for a small one……..in the water- he will be ok and eat the plant
it can go without heat but not air. only a goldfish and bettas can do the vase thing. are you sure it is the molly cause thats not normal you may need to feed them more and crazy c is a jackoff
Use water that has been let out in the air for at least 24 hours.
Place Molly in a plastic bag with water from she is in now.
Place Molly while still in the plastic bag in the vase water.
After one hour release Molly – the temperature in the bag will have become the temp in the water.
Make sure you put some live plant in the vase. Filters are great, but since all fish eat, it means it all has to come out the other end. What comes out the other end has a lot of ammonia in it. Ammonia kills fish, so you need a plant that will soak up the ammonia because plants love the nitrogen that is in the ammonia.
Putting fish in a vase is cruel. No fish should have to live like that! And most likely the fish will die due to stress, bad water conditions, and improper heat. I wouldn’t advise it.
i wouldn’t out him in vase at all he will die from stress and your stupidity
you can put the fry in the vase until they are about 3-4 weeks old, but not the adult Mollie
But, you need to do water changes like every other day on them though
Take out water from your tank and put it into the vase, that way the fry has their usual surroundings
no it will die with no or little oxygen DUH!!!
