Can I Put A Turtle With My Cichlids?

I have a 75 gallon aquarium with 2 cichlids a firemouth & a kenyi there about 2 inches and i was wondering if i could get a little turtle for my tank or would the turtle eat the fish and i have chemicals in the aquarium would that hurt the turtle

Unless you want your cichlids to die, don’t put a turtle in there
I unfortunately had to experience it myself, because i didn’t know
I put a 1 inch turtle with my 4 year old 4 inch goldfish, after only beeing 1 hour in there, the turtle had eaten half of it’s body

If the turtle doesn’t outright kill and eat the fish, the wastes it produces will. Very high output.
You CAN put it in, but…
It would be awesome if you could, but it’s not a good idea.
