Blood worm should not be the only source of food for your fish, I recommend getting some flake or pellet food or both because they have a wider spectrum of nutrients & are a cleaner way to feed than blood worms. Like you said they have a tendency to go to the bottom and sit if your fish don’t eat them all and if they settle at the bottom they can effect your water quality. I recommend you take out all the other worms in the tank before you add any more, and only feed the fish small, precise amounts at a time to make sure they eat it all.

Remember that if you have left over food in the tank that you are over feeding the fish. While this is not directly harmful to them over time if too much left over food accumulates, it can cause unsafe levels of nitrite and ammonia in the tank. I know that the bloodworms aren’t really all that easy to portion out to your fish so i might suggest using dry fish food if there is too much wasted. A good rule of thumb when feeding is to only give them enough food so that it is all gone within 5 minutes. Now the other easier option would be to buy yourself a bottom feeding fish since mollies and guppies tend to eat from the top of the tank, id suggest a plecostomus, they’re hardy, and will eat anything, and are harmless to your fish. But really worms will not provide all the necessary nutrients so i would still supplement with flakes or pellets. Now as for the beta, don’t feed it bloodworms. There are a lot of special foods designed especially for beta fish that in fact make them look prettier because the food is formulated differently for their necessary diet. But if you decide to keep feeding the worms, make sure that its only enough so that the fish eats it all in 5 minutes. And feeding doesnt have to be a daily routine, the biggest mistake aquarium owners make is over feeding their fish. By limiting their food intake you actually increase your fishes lifespan.
