BioCube 14 Gallon Saltwater Fish?

I am a beginner in saltwater fish, i am 13 years old but have over 7 years experience with tropical fish. I really want saltwater fish, and the only max. size tank i can have is a 14 Gallon BioCube. I only want maybe 2 clowns, will i be okay?

You really need a larger setup for saltwater fish, with equipment specifically designed to handle it. Rigging up a tiny saltwater rig will not be as fun and satisfying for you as having a good 14 gallon freshwater setup with a number of nicer species. The BioCube is a nice setup, why don’t you just take the extra money you would have spent on the more expensive saltwater fish and equipment, and have an expert put together a really nice freshwater tank with rarer freshwater species and plants?

If you get two small clownfish it will be fine. Don’t try to add more fish unless you get a goby of some sort.

14 gallons isn’t big at all, especially when it comes to saltwater. Bigger is always better.

yes if you don’t have coral then you can have 2 clowns and inverts….but you will need live rock i would say about 10lbs or so….then cycle the tank for at least 6 weeks before adding anything just the live rock…..then after this buy some snails and hermit crabs..and wait one more month for the tank to become stable before adding a clown…tank breed…..then after another month add the other clown…….unless your getting a breeding pair then add them together

this will push the bioload but it will be fine with regular water changes. I have a BC14 with a true percula and false percula, you can see it on youtube under BcAquatics
