Bettas? First Fish Tank.?

Today I got my first fish tank, (so excuse me when I don’t talke fish-terns :p) it’s a 120L one, I already put in some vallisneria asiatica.
Didn’t buy any fish yet. I’d really like to get 2 bettas, however I’m a little confused: preferably I’d like 2 (females?),is there a “breed” that stays pretty small? Or should I just get one and some guppies? And also, which other plants should I buy?
Last question: any other “cleaning”-animals I should buy?

You wouldn’t want to get two bettas, especially not two males since they fight to the death, but you could make a sorority tank of females! You have to have at least five females but you have plenty of room for more. They’re colorful and stay pretty small so that could be really fun.
First of all do not Get any other Betta fish.Cause Betta Fish are know for their aggressiveness But Are very Loving and Caring If cared.I will Tell you to start your tank Fill your tank With your Tap water that is treated to remove chlorine this is suitable for betta fish.Also you have done great Job By Buying Plants for your Betta As they love it.Also Do not make a mistake by putting Plastic plants as they make hurt your little Betta.Also do not forget to put some thing on top of your aquarium if their is none Cause Betta love to jump and you may find your Betta Dead in the morning which is a sad thing. Cycle you Aquarium water every once 1 week.Feed your betta With Tetra bits ,Blood worms they love it

Try getting a sorority (group in fish terms) of female bettas. They consist of 4 to 6 females. You shouldn’t put anything else in that tank, though.
120 liters(30 gallons) is a good size for a sorority of female bettas. you can get around 5 or 6 of them. i don’t know why people are getting a bunch of thumbs down for saying that. female bettas are less aggressive in groups. if you get a pair, there will be a problem. just get some fake silk plants, or if you wanna go real, if you have standard lighting, anubias and java fern will look good in ur tank.
btw, a sorority tank is kinda like a hit and miss. sometimes it’ll work out, and sometimes it won’t. my brother and my friend both had sorority tanks and they were fine together.
